The flights have a very fine-grained silica coating that gives them a unique look, exceptional performance and extreme durability. This special processing strengthens the flight and makes it more resistant to damage. The slightly rough surface is comparable to very fine sandpaper. The resulting increased surface area slows down the dart during flight and stabilizes its trajectory.
